What Is Skrill?

Getting Started With Skrill

To recap you should now have the Skrill app downloaded onto your mobile phone, and you’ve created and verified your new Skrill account using your personal details, great work! Now it’s time to deposit into your Skrill account using your debit or credit card.

Step 1:

Log back into your Skrill app and navigate your way to the bottom menu tab and select “Deposit”. You should then see the Debit or Credit card payment option, unfortunately for South Africans this is the only deposit method currently available.

Go ahead and click on the “Credit/debit card” option. you will see that the payment process is instant, and there is a 2,5% transaction fee charged by Skrill for every deposit.

Step 2:

Enter the credit or debit card number you wish to deposit from, followed by the expiry date and CVV number located on the back of your card. At this point you can conveniently and safely save these card details within Skrill for ease the next time you want to make a deposit.

NB: When making a deposit into your Skrill account for the purposes of playing at an online casino, it is important to note that only deposits made through a VISA debit or credit card can be used at an online casino. Mastercard deposits are not accepted

How To Make A Casino Deposit At An Online Casino Using Skrill?

Account Usage Fee:

Creating a Skrill account is free as long as you ensure you log in or make a transaction at least every 12 months. If you do not login or transact during a 12 month period you will be charged a monthly fee of 5 EURO (or equivalent in Rands)

Currency Conversion Fee:

Skrill will add a 3.99% when you perform a transaction involving currency conversion.
